Asaph "Ace" Fipke - C.E.O. and Founder (a.k.a. Supreme Commander)
With several hundred episodes of animated television to his credit, Nerd Corps' Supreme Commander, Asaph “Ace” Fipke has established himself as one of North America’s top computer-generated (CG) animation producers. With a rare blend of expertise in the creation, production and financing of animated television and feature length productions, Fipke spearheads the overall galactic strategy of Nerd Corps Entertainment.
After launching his career in computer animation more than a decade ago at ground-breaking CG animation studio Mainframe Entertainment, Fipke quickly solidified his position as one of the true visionaries in an emerging art form. Starting as Executive Creative on season two of the Emmy Award-winning series Transformers:Beast Wars, and Creative Producer on Transformers:Beast Machines (both for Hasbro Entertainment), he soon moved into the role of VP of Creative Development, where he was responsible for the development of visual styles, scripts and direction for Mainframe's television and feature length projects, as well as spearheading the acquisition new entertainment properties. As Senior Vice President of Development and Production, Fipke continued his creative development duties and oversaw all aspects of production for the studio, including Mainframe’s flagship series Reboot, as well as Action Man for Hasbro, Heavy Gear and Max Steel for Sony Pictures, and the first-ever animated Barbie movie for Mattel, Barbie in the Nutcracker.
In 2002, Fipke founded Nerd Corps Entertainment. Along with co-founder, Chuck Johnson, he assembled a team of the most talented "nerds" in the industry, and produced 39-episodes of The Story Hat’s/Alliance Atlantis’s Dragon Booster, which won a 2005 Gemini for Best Animated Series. As the creative visionary of Nerd Corps, Fipke has created two original comedy/action television properties, Storm Hawks and Teem Awethum!!!!, both targeted for delivery in 2006.
He’s also learning the Klingon language in his free time.
