Position: Render Wrangler

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our VFX team.

Job Requirements:

Check Softimage XSI scene and setup render passes and partitions for rendering

  • Check render results and flag improper images
  • Composite shots for the show in a timely manner
  • Follow the creative direction of the production as communicated by the Visual Effects Supervisor.
  • Work with the senior staff of the Visual Effects Team to understand the best methods and software used when compositing.
  • Basic understanding of 3D texturing, Modeling and Lighting
  • Basic understanding of Compositing Methods
  • Intermediate knowledge of SoftImage XSI; in particular XSI FX-Tree.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize
  • Good at improvising and problem solving
  • Thrive in a high pressure, deadline oriented environment

NOTE: Successful applicant must be a Canadian citizen or possess landed immigrant status and be willing to work at Nerd Corps studio in Vancouver, Canada.
